Two exotics back to back? Normally, I like to get something a little more simple in but the snake was calling to me. And when this week’s patch came together I knew they had to drop together. Indy and a snake patch are a match made in heaven. Python can be found in a variety of wild shades but I’ll always lean toward natural shades and things that you can find in the real world (in most cases anyway). As always, exotic leathers tend to be on the thinner side. So they must be laminated to something for strength, stability, and a better user experience. We've had a lot of good results from the black Italian leather in designer hilts so it was the obvious choice. The result brings the snake up a level in luxury and provides that well known Hilt user experience you’re used to from ROV.
A two part drop is not common but I grew with the Indy movies. Raiders and LC are comfort movies for me. I rewatch them regularly without getting tired of it. We don’t need to worry too much about the sequels. Raiders wins out for me as the original. LC is a classic and so fun. But if I had to watch only one of them, it’s Raiders no question.
